We would love to be a part of your whole life journey, as we ask for God's blessing to be on you. Whether you are welcoming a child and wish them to be Christened, starting a new life together by getting Married or saying goodbye to a loved one and arranging a funeral, we would love to journey with you. As part of the Church of England, we offer Christenings (also known as Baptism), Weddings and Funerals to anyone resident in our parishes, to those attending our churches or with a "qualifying connection" to our parishes. If you would like more information, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Vicar, the Rev'd Charlotte Cheshire.
Marrying in church is personal, meaningful and spiritual just as you want it to be. Churches are special and unique places to get married in - the prayers, promises and the whole service of celebration become part of your marriage, on the day itself and beyond. We would love to celebrate with you!
Christenings / Baptism
Baptism is the primary act of Christian initiation, as seen in the Bible, well documented throughout the tradition of the Church and widely practiced. It is a sacrament, which is understood to be a visible sign of God's love.
A church will always be there to help you through one of life’s most difficult times. A Church of England-led funeral is available to everyone, giving support before, during and after the service, for as long as it’s needed.
